Why FoxLAD

We saw an opportunity to do it better.

Across our careers, we encountered the same friction from different sides—too many vendors, fragmented workflows, avoidable delays and services that did not always reflect how employers and their teams actually operate.

FoxLAD was created to connect those pieces more effectively, giving organizations a responsive partner that can bring testing, occupational health and related services together around their needs.

The founders

Different expertise. One shared vision.

Founded by Oakley Smith and Mong Nguyen, FoxLAD combines two distinct career paths with a shared belief that strong service starts with understanding the client, removing unnecessary complexity and following through on execution.

Co-Founder & Managing Partner

Oakley Smith, MS, RDN

Oakley’s background sits at the intersection of employment screening, occupational health, healthcare and enterprise strategy. She has led national screening operations, expanded occupational health networks, strengthened vendor partnerships and helped design scalable services for organizations with complex requirements.

As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and seasoned operations executive, she brings both healthcare perspective and business discipline to FoxLAD. Oakley leads company strategy, service development and partnerships, with a focus on building offerings that are thoughtful, efficient and ready to scale.

Mong Nguyen

Mong’s career has been rooted in healthcare operations, where consistent execution matters every day. He has overseen multi-site teams, developed leaders, improved quality, managed financial performance and partnered with healthcare executives to solve operational challenges in demanding environments.

At FoxLAD, Mong brings that field-level perspective to client strategy and implementation. His focus is on turning ideas into reliable execution—making sure services are practical for employers, clear for the teams administering them and consistent for the people moving through the process.
